The company that amazon ships from for this product sent the wrong item. (as you can see the image they have for it on here is actually for tire cleaner so they still have not corrected the problem) so instead of getting the teak oil I got some tire & wheel cleaner one of the which busted open in transit and was leaking everywhere. the packaging was horrible. they had the bottles taped shut with packaging tape and one lousy piece of bubble wrap just laying in the box. I called up to complain about getting the wrong item and they said basically I had to pay to ship back the wrong item (that was leaking everywhere and half empty) and then they would refund me. Never mentioned sending the right product. So I emailed their customer service with a very heated message and did end up getting refunded without having to ship back the wrong leaking item. This was my first order through amazon and I won’t likely be back to purchase anything else through here again because this just ruined it for me.

It is what it is. Teak oil. I used an entire bottle on my outdoor furniture. I highly recommend for teak furniture as it was my only application. Cheers.

Bought this stuff to treat a 60″ round teak patio table and 6 chair set. Used almost the whole bottle and it made the furniture look really good. We applied it with a rag, as per the instructions but that’s a waste of time – it took about 2 hours. Next time I’m going to use a pump spray bottle to apply it and then use the rag or a paintbrush to work it in.
I reckon that ideally, the patio furniture should be submerged in this stuff overnight but that would be prohibitively expensive to facilitate. As it is, a couple of months of light spring rain and sun and it’s almost faded back to the bare wood again.

Meguiar’s Gold Teak oil is fabulous. It is easy to apply. No mess and low odor.
I simply poured some oil onto a terry cloth and just wiped on. It restored my Teak bench to a beautiful golden finish.
It also dried pretty fast. You can’t beat the quality and cost. I am quite happy with the product.

This teak oil does exactly what it is supposed to do – if you are unfamiliar with teak oil, be advised that it is not a varnish – it is an oil treatment that must be re-applied regularly to the wood. It is a beautiful protectant against drying out, but will not permanently change the color of the wood, and it is absorbed. I use it monthly on the teak flooring and benches of my shower and once or twice a year on my redwood outdoor furniture. I am delighted with the results.
