I have tried this product twice. Both times I masked off the top with tape & newspapers so I could get good coverage without being concerned about getting spray on the paint or windows. I was particularly carefull to get good coverage in the seams.

After a hard rain (this is Florida after all) I need to wear a water proof jacket, cover my legs with plastic film, move anything I don’t want to get wet into the middle of the car and prepare to mop up the streams of water that come out of the side rails with towels. The water does not bead up on the surface.

I am going to try some seam sealer next and after that I guess a new top. The car is a 1997 Saab and the top looks fine – just leaks.

Cleaned convertible top and applied as directed. After beginning to spray, discovered product was actually easier to use than indicated on can (protectant). Works great when top was sealed, beads water like a wax job. Excellent! Even restored a dark black to my semi-faded canvas.

I have been looking for a protectant product for a long time and this stuff is awesome. I have a 98 mustang black paint and black top and the top is faded. I live in Vegas with intense everyday sun and have to park outside. Anyway I used the cleaner first and couldn’t belive the dirt that came out, then after using the protector product it looks dark black and like new. I am so happy, car looks new again and is 10 yrs old and my baby. The only suggestion I have is to not spray it around the edges because it gets on the paint and windows. Next time I’ll spray in the middle and sponge on the edges. This stuff is really good and worth the price.
